Mini-Meals & Metabolic Rates – Fact Or even Fitness Myth?

It is time to shatter another workout myth. Just simply this week, I got another one of those ezines from a “fitness expert” with the next headline:

“Mini Meals To Increase The Metabolism” of yours which included this content:

“Mini Meals To Increase Your Metabolism”
“Have you heard that to be able to Speed up the metabolism of yours, you should be consuming more OFTEN?..by eating every 2 or 3 hours… your metabolism is FIRED A maximum of it’s highest speed)…”

But can there be truth to this that has today become “conventional weight loss wisdom”?
Or might it be a workout myth waiting to be broken off through for information we can actually make use of?

Let’s place it one other way – in case you are trying to “recomposition” your body to get a lower fat-to-muscle ratio, might it be a beneficial practice to spread your food for the day out to several “mini-feeds”?
